The Mi4c is going cheap from Eternal Team at AliExpress. Grey version only at this price. This is not to be confused with the Mi4 which has the older Snapdragon 801, this packs the same Snapdragon 808 found in the LG G4 and Nexus 5X. It has the Quick Charge 2.0 tech.

Main disadvantage for me would be the lack of LTE band 28 (700Mhz) which Telstra/Optus use a lot.

I bought the Mi4 for my father in law from this seller, and it came in 10 days via DHL. The seller has sold 158,000 items over 5 years.

  • 16GB not expandable. So not possible to put a microSD card?

    • Correct. There is also a 32Gb version with 3Gb. That one is around $50USD more

  • Was looking for something at this pricepoint but with expandable memory. Thanks anyway

    • Redmi Note 2 may be an option for you if you don't mind a 5.5" screen. Specs aren't quite as good as the mi4c (it has a MTK Helio X10 chip), but I have one and it's plenty fast enough for me.

      • Might as well pay a little bit more and get Xiaomi note 3 prob. Supports either a second sim or sd card.

  • Can someone tell me how good is this phone?
    Any cons?
    Thanks.

Both me and my partner have this phone, I have the 32gb black and she has the 16gb white
Both are running cyanogenmod 12.1 - and very stable

Only con I would have is lack of sd card support, the 700mhz band isn't an issue to me, ive done countless tests and i get the same speeds on Telstra as other phones that support that band…

I am now looking at the newer Mi4s which has just been released in China with more storage and sd card

Happy to answer any further questions you have
