Now it's back and better than ever! (or not). Looks like the Kogan website got skinned with Dick Smith branding.
First spam I get from Kogan I am unsubscribing. My understanding is Kogan is trying to shed itself of its "grey import" image with Dick Smith online, but I'm not sure that aligning yourself with a failed business that treated badly people who were saddled with worthless gift cards or had paid deposits for goods they could no longer get delivered is the way to do it.
Can anyone tell me if new dicksmith is eligible for nikon cash back discount?
Did people not know kogan bought the dick smith website to use?

Does anyone know what happened to all the left over stock at Dick Smith?
I presume it will be sent to auction at some stage?Fixtures are been abandoned in store for landlords to dispose of if the stores were unsuccessful in selling them all. All stock was sold - all closing stores in the final week for the business (prior to this unsold stock was transferred to remaining stores) practically gave the remaining stock away to customers as the discounts crept up in the final couple days (in the last few hours of trade it came down to any 10 or 20 items for $1, for example). In other stores individuals essentially purchased the stores remaining stock as a whole for a fixed, negotiated price.
That's kinda eerie. I like that the cached thumbnail is still the old site.
