COD4 Remastered! (Oh Yeah, and Some New COD)

So if anyone's bothered to sit through the whole trailer for Call of Duty: Infinite War, you will have noticed they've finally done what people have wanted for a while, a beefier COD4 :) I wonder if this will get the servers it needs/wants. Also hoping for just being able to buy keys for just MW4, not this other space-fighting nonsense of IW.

Thoughts? :)

This article says MW won't be sold standalone, but I reckon it will if it means Infinity Ward get money out of it, 1 way or another!

    you have to buy Infinite warfare to get cod 4. most likely you will see it separately on key sites im guessing.
    Cod 4 will have dedicated servers.

      Not sure if you're being downvoted because you're using an overused joke from the early 90s, or if you're being hated on for disliking the common cashgrab of porting loved games onto the new consoles, because it's easier than making something new. It's hard to get away with it now that Xbox One is 360 compatible now, and if all they were going to do was remake games, they should've done the same with the PS4.

      They have a yearly release cycle, on a three-year rotation between different developers (Source)

          So in other words, that was like 9 games ago. In any other franchise, that would be significant, but you have a point; this one was released last generation, and the generation technological gap wasn't as substantial as it's been in the past to justify constant remakes.

    CoD is such a great franchise. While I personally would never play them, they have kept annoying kids off proper games like Battlefield and PS2 for years!

    Brings back great memories. So much better than that crap they release these days. Will it come complete with all of the glitches including going out of the map from the original CoD4? :P

    Funnily enough me and a few mates recently got out our 360s to replay cod4, waw and mw2 and were talking about remakes/backwards compatibility. So yeah heaps keen for cod4 remaster!

    Anyone know of any cheap regions to buy/preorder off the Xbox store ? (Like the $150 division gold edition for $60 using the Argentina store).

    I'm just want to know if they remastered the 1.0 version of the game, or the 1.7 (promod). God I'm hoping its 1.7.

    cod4 promod PC.. best - hopefully people play it again and stick to it (providing it is good). Hopefully it doesnt die after a month or so
