      yes, the politix ones all seem to be polyester. no wool blend. no wool. they would more likely to get a shine as they age. also wouldn't be as comfortable in warm weather.

      and they are way more expensive than this deal.

      for polyester suits they are stupidly expensive. you could check out myer sales and get a quality wool/wool blend suit for less.

      Between this and Politix? No, they were probably made in the same factory.

      Between Politix and a good suit, yeah the difference is clear if you know much about suits.

      Size 42 for both the pants and jackets? I have a big belly so I went for a size 44 for the jacket. Hope it wont be ridiculously long.

        Yep relatively flat belly here lol so size 42 for both. Was hurriedly trying to measure my chest with a tape measure as I knew it would sell out soon and got my order in at 10:59pm. If they don't fit can always exchange it or get refund in store :)

    i think I was just battling a fellow ozbargainer for stock haha , every time I went to checkout "your stock level has changed" managed to get one complete suit , dont think size will be right but will exchange hopefully instore

    Pants available from 36 upwards. I grabbed some as $25 is still a decent deal, and they are just for work. If they don't fit I'll just return to store.

          D'oh!!! Looks like I will have to return mine then, I followed the stupid size guide for the pants which said size 42 has 36 inch waist which must be the size of the jackets waist. They don't even have a size guide for pants on that pants page. Oh well will have to get a refund and wait for the next sale.

          @adr8: Well all worked out in the end :) Target Customer Care arranged for me to purchase the pants in the correct size and are going to refund my second purchase of $49 for 2 pairs, so effectively still paying only $23.18 for 2 pairs of pants as per the original purchase.

      Thanks - I was all over this deal like a cheap suit….just got my size at Mac centre, and yes I can confirm that the price comes down to $35 if you purchase in store in the same transaction.

        Were they listed as $99 originally? I'm just trying to work out if my local store had them to see if I can sizes to see if I ordered correctly, but all of them seem to be wool blend ones listed as $89

          It was a bugger to find them, as they weren't marked clearly. The way I found them was through finding jackets that were marked down to $99 with a sticker rather than the original label which was $139 from memory. Then did the same for the trousers by looking for a sticker saying $49 where the original label said $69 (this is from memory I dont have them handy to check). Also at Mac centre, the blue and blacks were on separate racks.

    There's also other business jacktets on sale that aren't listed on the website. I got a Gray jacket for $22.50. It's marked as $45 down from $89, but they have 50% off the marked price so they are cheaper. Perhaps all the suits reduced are like this?

    Got the Gray Jacket from Indooroopilly. I couldn't find this specific suit code in store and all the suit jackets I could find were either $89 or $119 as the original price, nothing had $99 as the original price

    I just left Broadway Target. They had a heap of Cool Wool Suit Jackets navy colour in size 40, 42 and some others. There weren't many in black. They had heaps of sizes in pants. Both suits scanned at $35 each at the register.

    Hi all, went to Macquarie centre today, the staff told me yesterday all targets store scanned at $35, TODAY it does not scan at $35. He said yesterday was a scanning error.

          That is factually incorrect. They are entitled to cancel the order (if ordered on-line) if it was a pricing error. In store they obviously can't do that, but on-line they can

    Received my 2 suits this morning. Totally perfect fit for both the jacket and pants. Nice cut.nice material. original price tags give a combined price of $218. Paid $35.

    Awesome.

    Goes perfectly with my $42 dr.martens from surfstitch.

    This is now on my top 10 OB scores list.

    Got mine too. The fit is amazing. My only regret is that I didn't buy two suits. But then again I didn't know my exact size so ….. next time around.
