I've been watching this style for a while, normal price is at least the 150 mark, cheapest I found online was 120 with delivery. Colour/Style may not be everyones cup of tea, but the lunar sole on these make them super comfortable compared to the classic Air Force 1. If you check ebay you'll see what this style is worth.

    Not my cup of tea…

  • Air forces aren't my cup of tea anymore, they're not comfortable. And I used to think white was cool as well, until they turned brown.

    • That's the good thing about the lunar sole. Much more comfortable. And a bit of scotchguard and a wet cloth can keep leather looking pretty white..

      • Yeah, but it's not worth the maintenance. I want to use my shoes and not care about maintenance. I don't think I'll buy Nike, Adidas or anything like that anymore, we're paying a premium for a brand, I'd rather get quality before a brand.

No hate, I still own a pair, although not white, they're also not comfortable but they fit well.

        • Yeah I'm by no means a collector, but I have enough pairs to just rotate and make all the shoes last for ages.

        • @richy_o: Yeah neither am I, I've had my air forces for about 3 years and they're about a 8/10 in terms of condition. I have shoes to rotate them with, but since I've worn shoes that are really comfortable I've left my air forces to the side and I've made a decision that I won't buy Nikes, Adidas, premium shoe brands anymore unless they have the quality to support it. I mean, at the time they looked really cool, but I've since grown out of that mind set and sought for comfort-ability and quality overall. (I've probably only worn my Air forces a maximum of about 60 times over the period of 3 years).

I just don't see the reason for why a shoe that costs $100 requires maintenance at all to make it look as it once was. Unless it were dress shoes. I would rather get a darker or a coloured shoe rather than a plan white one and wear that without cleaning it, rather than go through all that work just to get a shoe white again.

I'm pretty sure those soles are like iced blue right? So basically the shoe has nothing that will be not be discoloured within a matter of 1 month of wearing them.

        • @Pikaloo: what comfortable shoes do you get now?

        • @Micoa: Honestly, the shoes I have now aren't worth buying, as although they're comfortable they're poor quality. I'm actually looking into buying a pair of shoes, so if you have any suggestions let me know. I'm looking for casual shoes.

Aren't these the types of bottoms that turn piss yellow?

    • +2

Yep, iced blue, along with the fact they're white. The maintenance time is worth way more than the shoe is actually worth.
