From the picture looks like the ones that target had on clearance for $25

From the picture it looks like a trolley wheel.

plenty of dash cams with these specs on aliexpess starting from AU$13 delivered.

    • Do you have a link to one you can recommend?

      • depends on the capabilities and how much you wish to spend. there is this dash camera that reads well in terms of specs for ~$100 - http://www.aliexpress.com/item/DDPai-Mini-Wifi-Car-DVR-Rotat….

Otherwise I can't help specifically. if you want a cheap dash cam (and then I have to ask "why are you buying it?") then just do a search of "1080p dash cam" and sort through the reviews until you find one that reads well.

the purpose of a dash cam is to record visual information, in the case of an accident, to absolve you of guilt or error. sufficient quality is required to achieve this and thus I don't believe the cheapest of dash cams will suffice, but the most expensive will probably be over kill, therefore the middle ground therein lies the sufficiently spec'd cam to provide quality vs cost to achieve quality. In this specific task I can't assist due to lack of personal and intricate knowledge.

    Same as $25 target one

    • Which one!!! . Went to Target site could only find a thompson for $59. If you are to help why not provide the link to the deal!

    • Do you have a link for it? Mikinoz notes it was on clearance, so may no longer be in stock.

  • Luxor LUXCDTS01

  • Looks like the Target dash cam. Which died on me recently after less than a year of usage.

    • That's lucky it was under a year, what did you get after returning it for a full refund?

    $216 RRP? oh please!!!

This looks just like the Target TACC1 which I bought in Jan 2015 and returned straight away as the picture becomes blurry when it heats up. The instructions say do not use in temps over 40°, so they are basically admitting that it's not fit for purpose.

Ended up getting the G1W-CB from Gearbest & it's still working fine. They have it for $53.65 delivered.

  • I rather buy either G1W-C or A118C with capacitor instead of battery.
Oh wait, I do already have both :)

    • Which one do you prefer out of the 2.

        Both still in boxes #ozbargainlife

I prefer the A118C due to its smaller size and more discreet. I have it as my rear cam. I have the more expensive SG9665GC as my front cam. The G1W-C is in my parents' car. My old Mini 0801 has been retired. I bought one of those cheap $25 dash cam from one of the OzBargain deal over a year ago and it is the crappiest dash cam of the lot.

    • Both look crap.
