Looking for Great Deal for Laptop - Mainly for Admin Use

Hi Ozbargainers,

I am currently looking for a laptop which will be mainly for administrative use.

Does anyone know what is the best deal around and have below features?

Min specs - 8GB RAM
Processor - Intel chipset
SSD hard drive

In terms of "administrative use", is that

Business administration where you need to run through the books, open big Excel files, use various ATO portals, etc. Or

Computer / network administration where you just need to ssh into your remote box, edit a few configuration files and then systemctl restart blah?

Your required features are also quite general so I'll just give some general recommendations. ThinkPad E460 is a cheap business laptop that I'll get for some generic activities.

    If that's all you want it for then anything will suffice, even an older secondhand one. No need for an SSD and 4Gb RAM will be enough.

I'm hoping for some end of financial year specials. They have been a bit sparse over the past few years. The best laptop specials are the ones with cash back. When you salary sacrifice a laptop it can make for a sweet deal.
