I caught an ad on TV last night about Domayne offering $300 trade in on your old fridge, plus free pickup / delivery.
I cant find any info online though? I'll probably chase them up later, but thought id check to see if anyone had a link to the deal or T&C's??
In the market for a new fridge, so hoping its a decent offer.

There is a fridge buy back scheme they come pick it up and recycle it and give you $15 from memory.
Domaynes offer is just a way to get you thru the door so they can make the sale. They will make no money taking your old fridge, but will make you pay full price +$300 and then potentially sell you finance or extended warranty delivery etc
I'm sure it would be *up to $300 trade in depending on how much the fridge is.
Shop around for the style and size of fridge you want first on the internet take print screens on your phone of the lowest prices. Then go into and shop like domayne good guys Harvey Norman Bing lee etc and tell them you want them to beat the Internet price and your paying cash If they say no, walk away. If they want your business they will cut you deal.
The 300 trade in is just 300 over priced.
Woolworths do a similar thing with there rewards points. Charge you 10% more for items then say for every $100 you spend we will give you 9 rewards dollars, but only till Sunday!! And people think that's great, I'm getting such a great deal.
We have been looking for a few weeks though, and know the usual prices of the fridges we are interested in.
So we wont get ripped off from that perspective.
