I like using these to store things, but I've also had countless issues with them going brittle and cracking over time…
I would also be interested to hear personal experiences…
They don't stack well either. Any weight and the lids break.
I would rather buys these types of container from bunning masters deals as they are just so sturdy and wouldnt break . Its worth paying the extra bucks
Supercheap Auto boxes are extremely sturdy too. Similar regular price as this Officeworks box, and sometimes on special 3 for $20. I have nearly 30 of them that I've been using for 20+ years and haven't had a single one break, yet they've been kicked down stairs, fallen off tables, had heavy things dropped on them but none of them have broken. I put heavy machine tools, solid metal computer parts, power tools, pots and pans in them and have never had an issue. I bought more last year and they're the same quality. Even when stacked 3, 4 or 5 boxes high when full of heavy things they don't sag. They don't seem to have a 52L but they have 25L, 45L, 80L, 100L+:

Nearly every single other brand of box has cracked/chipped/sagged/disintegrated within a few years or even a few months, and the majority have horrible lids that sag or crack if stacked. Bought some from Target that didn't even survive the trip home in the car.

I have been looking around for 3 or 4 but having used to work at officeworks, I know the keji ones are total junk.
Can you give me a link to the actual ones you use? Or at least the brand name?

There are no stickers or branding, they just always have a large stack of them at the Supercheap Auto store. They must just mass-produce them for their own stores.
They're cheap for a reason…

The couple of different times I've looked at these in Officeworks, every single one of them in the pile of 10 to 12 or so had cracks or chunks already missing from them.

Yes. I bought them for this price about 6 weeks ago when preparing to move house. I also bought 10+ at $7.50. So it's not a special price whatsoever.
They functioned fine. One cracked, one lost its handle, they're not high quality items. Also I had to sort through a whole bunch that were on the shelves because lots had all kinds of crap inside them. But they did the job.
60L at target for $9 a pop. Good quality too.

Can anyone comment on the quality/durability of these ?
I've found many of these types of boxes are too brittle, and others seem to become brittle with time, presumably due to exposure to UV/ozone/whatever.
My standard thing is to give them a flex test in the shop, and if they show any sign of brittleness, walk away regardless of how good the price is.
