I've written a selection criteria and would like someone to check it before I send it. It's the first one I've done and I'm not sure if it's ok… I really want this job!!!!!

is it possible to get government job without writing long essay or answer written questions? ie just like other job application, send cv and then get called for interviews.
No it is not possible. The people working in government need something to do!!!
If all the applicants aren't "writing long essay or answer written questions" what are the people employed there supposed to do???

The long responses are meant to provide enough material for the panel to be able to base a transparent, merit based decision off. Unlike private sector, government needs to be able to demonstrate the best candidate was chosen for the position. Its all about ensuring tax payers are getting value for money.
Can help, can you let me know first which department or agency though. Just in case I'm on the recruitment panel.
