  • Normal prices plus freight to my region is close to equivalent price/kg for chicken treats in supermarket. The advantage however is that (my selection) it's Australian made.

    • Hi bigpalooka, Some blackdog chicken is OS origin. The 100% chicken meat that is aussie is here: https://www.healthydogtreats.com.au/healthy-dog-treats/chick…

The chicken meat balls, chicken crinkles and chicken sticks are also aussie.

      • Yes. That's what I ordered. Thanks.

        • Hi BIG Pallooka … Your order with Auspost today - I hope they get it to you quickly ! Cheers Bruce

  • Chicken roll from the deli will set you back about a buck.

LOL! These are treats not punishments.

      • :)… Pups love chicken roll! Even if no human should consume it, under any circumstances!

        • I purchase what basically amounts to chicken jerky so a chicken roll won't cut it for my dog.

  • Buy a dehydrator and make your own treats.

  • Please note that we are offering 20% off our prices which are some of the lowest you will find online. You can buy supermarket treats, you can dehydrate your own meat, but that is not what we are offering. If people mostly dont make their own dog food, its unlikely they are going to dehydrate their treats.

  • What's the typical/recommended shelf life of these products?

Hi, most of the small pre-packs (small bags) by blackdog have a useby date on them between 1-2 yrs (because of preservative). The jerkies have no preservative but kept in a pantry in ideal conditions can probably last a year. They will mostly have an issue if allowed to get wet. Haven't had a client yet who hasn't used the treats well before any issues could potentially develop.

    hi there.
I just went to your site and looking through it all.
on here https://www.healthydogtreats.com.au/healthy-dog-treats/beef-… the link for the video doesn't work, it goes to an error page.
just a heads up for you.

    • Hi PVa,

Thank you for that I had to change a menu item last month and all of the article numbers jumped a few hundred (changing all the article URLS for video articles). All of the videos on the sits bottom left column work - I will have to look at the links in the individual product listings later today when I get back from my pro dog walks. Thanks again.

PS here is the link for the beef jerky article and video: https://www.healthydogtreats.com.au/index.php?option=com_con…
