Does anyone know if there are any other benefits of Brown Rice than White rice? Thanks.
Provides steady rise of blood glucose level, which is good for diabetic patients. Too much brown rice could lead to constipation in some people, I always mix my white and brown together.
The grain is also rich in minerals and can help to reduce cholesterol.
More true for long grain rather than medium grain brown rice from what I gather.
Most brown rice sold is medium grain as is this one.

By "mix" I hope you mean after it's cooked since cooking brown rice takes much much longer.
I am using a Tiger cooker which I bought last time visited Japan. It comes with a brown rice cooking function. I'll mix the rices before cooking with a ratio 2:1( 2 white and 1 brown).

I forgot to add that I usually soak the brown rice prior cooking. Otherwise its not too bad, just some crunchy rice!

Bought 2 brown and 1 white last year and they lasted about 7 months and i usually cook a curry every night!
In Vic, expiry I saw was Jan 2017.
Also saw Jasmine Brown for same price with Nov 2016 expiry.somehow my ww says 40% off, $6.99 same as the post.
