Hi
whats the difference between the 2?
when i told my friends i got the toppy box they thought it wasnt needed as freeview plus provides it all for free.
from what i have read - freeview plus also needs a box for samsung tv's? (thats what i have)
thanks
What is freeview plus?
Freeview plus is just a convenient way to watch catchup tv on you television. You can also access each tv stations catchup tv service on you pc via your internet connection.
If your tv, settop box or PVR are not freeview certified then you will need to get an additional STB/PVR that supports freview plus to access the service.
Freeview plus devices also requires the use of your Broadband connection to user this service. All content viewed via this service will count towards your monthly data allowance if you are not on an unlimited monthly plan.
Topfield boxes are not freeview plus certified they are only designed to record/watch live FTA tv. You will still need a freeview plus device to use the service to catchup on tv shows that you have missed on your tv.
