  • Does SotFS include all DLC.

I just finished the normal DS2 and curious if this is vastly superior and worth spending $16.

Annoyed however that they released another version of the game.

Yeah sotfs include all dlc and runs dx11 version of the game. Save game not compatible with vanilla dark souls 2.

      • But is it worth playing through again?

        • Hm. Hard to say. I was a ds2 launch player so sotfs feels new to me when I finally get it last year. If you just completed the game you might feel repetitive since it only improve a few things and added the dlc are and boss

"sorry, reply was meant for medski"

I'd say yes its worth it, especially if its been a while since you played DS2.

I'm doing a playthrough now of SOTFS and loving it, even after completing DS2. Haven't reached the DLC parts yet, especially looking forward to that. By then might get DS3 a bit cheaper.

    • SotFS includes all the DLC. Bamco caused a bit of an uproar with this tweaked version because they introduced a separate server for SotFS, essentially splitting the player base in two. So it was either fork up another $60+ (with no discounts to DS2 vanilla owners) or be stuck in vanilla server with dwindling players.

Heck yeah! I've been looking for both of these on the cheap. Bought them both thanks!

  • Thanks Op! Bought both
