Anyone Got a Sony GTKX1BT Mini Hi-Fi System ?

Hello,

I have purchased one of them yesterday and I have to say that I am everything but happy with it. The sound is mediocre, the advertised 500W are nothing compared to some of the other audio equipment I have, which is rated much lower.

Anyone has one of them and could share her/his opinion about it?

  Yep, love mine. Use it for TV, Xbox, music etc etc.

  Can I ask if anyone would recommend the 500w version of this as an outdoor wedding PA and music speaker? Sound would need to reach about 80-100 people spread over about 300 square metres. And later, to play music on through (either outdoors or indoors)?

    I did purchase one a while ago but returned it because it simply wasn't powerful enough IMHO.
    Add a bit of cash and get this one instead while on sale

      thanks for that. Can get a refurb of the GTKX for $160 on ebay atm so your JB suggestion is a fair way out of my price range. Were you using yours indoors exclusively?

        Yes, i just used it indoors but it hardly was enough for a big living area to have proper sound.
