I imagine this is asked regularly. I understand you don't want to inundate the mail servers but it'd be nice to have just a couple more items in my list.
Maybe even a feature for 1year+ members or something? I dunno.

Too many people asked for it :)
Currently we have to process 7,000+ unique search alerts at the turn of the hour and that takes a bit of toll on our search server. I'll see what's the impact when we move the maximum to 20.
If it's too much could always do 15. I personally only need a handful more.
