try this :P
"Nice USED glass bottle available for $3.70. Wet."
does it goes for 50% off
yes does it goes :/
Not often…meh bought it anyway
and people complain about the cost of petrol…… This works out to $4.63 a liter….
people buy it for the glass bottle, not the water…
So why not just buy glass bottles?
Filling these and transporting them full of water (added weight) must be more costly & require more fuel.
Woolies has empty bottle, different brand, around $9, so do your maths :)
Must be but bringing your own pet standard for what's "OK" to ship ain't gonna help things … I'm sure I could come up with reasons I don't want you going to the supermarket etc. ;)
@boomramada: i hust use empty vodka bottles. Plenty of them laying around.
It's not the water you want from this deal. It's the glass bottle
You should really read the first comment on this post… Also:
Nice bottle to have.
Who cares? When I buy a 600ml bottle of Coke from the servo I'm paying $4+. You don't see people complaining about that.
Do you have Coke on tap at home? Awesome.
So how many people are buying this once cuz I see the same nicks again and again on these Voss threads … are you actually using it as a drink bottle or are you buying it again?
buying it again to use as a drink bottle! ;)
I get it, it's the bottle people are paying for. But personally I reckon it's not exactly hygienic as you cant really clean the inside easily…
Pour soap and hot water….cap and shake!
I take it you don't really use water bottles then? There aren't too many that you can get inside and clean. Only the ones with the really wide opening.
That's why I bought my Nalgene. Wide mouth. No pop top.
I have a "clean bottle" made from BPA free plastic. I use it for sport and the base unscrews too. So you can push a brush through the uncapped cylinder and clean it thorough.
Maybe try this method to clean glass bottle
so I buy this, toss the water away, because we're only buying it for the bottle, and now need to go buy rice to clean my bottle when it gets dirty?
Well at this price you can buy it, use it, when it gets dirty buy another one again.
Good for environment too as glass is less nasty than plastic.
these do have a wider opening.
I use warm soapy water with a cloth on the end of a chopstick lol. The under part of the mouth is hard to reach though.
I put mine in the dishwasher.. glass afterall.
You can use a bottle brush cleaner as well
Why would anyone buy this ??
Ikr, this is OzBargain. Anyone who pays over $4/L for water should leave immediately!
SAVAS BACKWARDS IS SAVAS
Apparently for the bottle…
I could think of more durable bottles to spend money on which don't carry a smug factor though.
Water sourced from Norway, as opposed to any other water?
This question has been answered at least a dozen times before you posted. Have a neg.
the other major issue I can see is the stability factor, it's base seems to be too small and will topple with the slightest knock…
Yea, my housemate used them for a bit, but everyone would constantly knock them over when they were around the place. That being said the glass is pretty durable.
funny that, glass is more durable than its lid.
everyone's favourite water (bottle).
Golden gay time - 2 boxes of 4 for $10 at woolies carnes hill. I am not sure if this applies nation wide.
how much is bottle of PUMP water at HOYTS/Grand Cinema….And you complaint here.
These make a pretty good jenkem bottle!
Went away from plastic coz of carcinogens and the BPAz
I don't get it why is the bottle good? The non bpa free, easy to thread plastic lid makes it terrible… I think I am missing something. Does seem like a bargain though I suppose if the normal price is $5?
My workplace doesn't allow glass waterbottles
then you need move to a different prison. Maybe speak to them at the next parole hearing
:)
What's your work environment/industry?
I'll re-write this ad for you:
