    Yeah I'm thinking I'll end up going to the Aldi deal and see how I go on data, if I use too much I'll jump over to Boost… kinda tempting though seeing as they have 50% off right now on their $20 Ultra Starter Pack…

      If you're considering Boost (i.e. $20/mo) might be worth thinking about iiNet.

      It's the most data (2GB) at the $20 price point (well Boost is more but only if you use 500MB every weekend). Optus network. https://www.iinet.net.au/mobile/

      TPG also has a half price on their $20/mo plan for the first 6 months. Vodafone network. https://www.tpg.com.au/mobile/plans.php

      I've been stinging by using Amaysim PAYG + 10GB data pack. Got the data pack on 30% off sale, lasts a year. So paid $70 + ~$20 worth of calls so far (8 months in). Pretty sure I'll close out a year of service having spent maybe $10 more on calls/SMS so it'll work out <$9/mo. :)

      But even at full price $100 for 10GB + say $30 worth of calls/SMS works out around $11/mo.

  I am on the same boat too. About a week on my last month. The phone this card in is second phone. Mainly for customer to call and minimum outgoing calls. Any suggest how to:

  1) Kept a low running cost, while
  2) has a reasonable call rate in the every now and then situation that calls need to be made.
