people picking over crap that (even with discounts) is expensive or out dated. at least at my local store.
Same as mine. Heck, I saw Call of Duty Black Ops II for the Wii U going for $24… after the 70% off discount!
Thanks everyone who replied, as with any trash its somebody else's treasure. I did manage to get a couple of great stuff, at good old DS. Staff are really not helpful with stocks and tight over info. Seems like they are keeping things to themselves ehem what bargain peeps like us to do but share info within our respected bargain customers. I've compared TV's and they are reasonably cheap as for now with other JB's & Harvey's. I'm really enjoying the wave, I know it won't last long, such as the closing of Clive peters and some Harvey Norman that did close some stores down like the one in Southland. Oh, don't bother with DS at Southland, nothing much there already. I notice the search on DS website is limited on product now, that was a useful tool to check prices! Dammit.
As for me, I'll keep and eye out for the headphones like the Sennheiser or the beats to go under $50-100(one can dream right) unless DS decides to give it to Kogan.
Will still be hunting for that Swann Cam, there were heaps at Bourke last Friday. I wonder who bought them? Potential eBay or gumtree for sure!
At this stage, they'd be none left. Every Dick Smith store's shelves (that is still open) are bone-dry, just like Bourke Street and the Emporium.
