would love to have more of those audi and cosco wannabes here… keep the prices down, healthy competition :)
I'm excited, a bit annoyed though i might be living interstate by then :(
ummm… im not sure but when was auburn ever located in canberra?
oh, grew up in syd, studying in canberra. :)
Auburn — too far from me. Especially that means I need to travel on Parramatta Road from CBD to Auburn, which I won't categorise as "fun shopping trip". Might take once off visit there.
any1 been to melbourne store?
how cheap compare to aldi?
I have been to the Melbourne Store and was not overwhelmed by the prices. They are not much different from other places around, Aldi is probably cheaper in many cases.
The only difference with Costco is that everything is in bulk. Bulk packs of 30 Toilet rolls seem to be the most popular purchase. If you have a need for 5Kg of baking powder and a 2Kg Garden Salad mix then Costco might suit you. It does not really suit me because I live in a small apartment.
There are some threads on costco specials too, with discussions
i live in small apartment with my other half, so costco is not my thing too.
well…. same case here, but probably i'll stock up 100s of toilet paper,soap/shampoo and dish washing liquids at one corner… :P just so hope that one day i don't walk into the apt with a burst pipe. :)
you just have to love how the big supermarkets are complaining by saying it's "anti-competetive"
and lol at the typo on the first line
