Thanks for ur input, bmwf800r is currently at 13990 with all 3 options (dynamic,traction etc)
Before this was looking at scrambler but expensive for my budget as it's over 18k
Other bike is ys900/700 r of Yamaha.. Yet to launch
I've had an F700GS for 3 years now, all good so far. A friend of mine has the F800R and is happy with it too. One thing to take in to account when buying is that BMW Australia is among the most expensive in the world for parts and accessories, check out the pricing of any add on parts from moto24.de before you get near any sales people. Also you will get different prices at each dealership, so don't be afraid to shop around and get them to compete for your business. They will of course push their finance offers, so also have quotes on that first.
I'm going to get a closer look at the BMW R nineT Scrambler myself.
