Ryobi Line Trimmer: Trimmer Line Replacement?

I have Ryobi One+ 18V 305mm Cut Cordless Line Trimmer http://www.bunnings.com.au/ryobi-one-18v-305mm-cut-cordless-…

But the trimmer line which came with it kept on breaking and it didn't last for 2~3 use. So now I need to feed it new cord/line. Looking at ebay and Bunnings, they seem to have few options of 2mm 2.4mm 3mm 3.1mm etc.

So wondering which size you guys recommend?

  I am running 1.65mm in mine.. My line only breaks when I abuse it.

  does 3.1 or 3mm cord work better than lower sizes?

  I went up one size in mine. Seems to work a little better. Not sure the one+ would have enough grunt to get the thickest stuff cutting properly.

  I went with 2.0mm at Bunnings and IMO that's the largest you could physically use, as I was already cramming it in tight, but once I went up in size the difference it made was awesome! I get much more longevity with the thicker line, less breakage.

    Any idea in what is the size of cord which.comes with the trimmer? I thought it was 2mm but might be wrong,

      Stock size is like 1.5mm
