Good Value Web Hosting and Domain Name Registration Provider for a Medium to Large Website

Hi,

I am planning to setup a coupon website along with Apps something similar to our Groupons & Scoopons.
I will be creating the website on wordpress.

To start with it can you please recommend me good and value for money web hosting and domain name registration sites.
Going through I found there are these web hosting sites which provide free domain name for a year.
So any recommendations here for a good value for money websites.

Once my website and Idea is all set to launch you guys will be the first one to know and benefit from it and hopefully love it.

    I buy my domains from VentralIP or GoDaddy (for the TLDs that VentralIP doesn't do), and use Microsoft Azure for hosting and DNS.

    Azure isn't the cheapest, but it ties in nicely with Visual Studio so it saves me time when publishing code. In addition to web hosting I have some VMs and file servers up there, so it provides a more complete solution for me (value).

    For domain registration, I use Godaddy. For hosting, I use asphostportal.
