Before the Receivership, they used to be $1. Then once they announced the "sale" if you can call it that, it went back up to RRP at $20 per case, and slowly decreasing in price haha.
The cases aren't bad for the iphone 5 (some silicon ones).

I was very tempted to get the Belkin tempered glass screens for the iPad mini for $5. Probably $2.50 now. I don't have one by I was going to get one for some family.

DSE is the only store that gives 10% as a going out of business sale on a customer returned Macbooks and iMacs. For god sake even JB is doing 10% on brand new Apple Macs.
Agreed this sale has been abysmal. Most items only 20-30% off the already high prices. This stuff will just end up at auctions where there will get next to nothing for it as resellers buy it in bulk. Should have had way bigger discounts to begin with.

Unbelievable amount of phone cover stock at dick smith. They just can't get rid of them. They were either too cheap like 5 cents each or someone stuffed up big time with stock management.
Also I'm surprised to see DSE still has a store rep on Ozbargain. Rep, have you lined up something yet?
aside from not being able to find covers for my phones (too obscure), i think the covers just suck design and material-wise and don't really offer the protection i need in a case.
I ended up getting a backup iPhone 6s+ cover for $5 and a $3 small camera case to hold things like my iPhone cables and USB sticks.

Was at DS Chatswood and found about 5 iPhone 4 (yes 4) powered cases (with battery built into the case). Asked at the counter and after 70% discount came up to $50+. I hung my head and put it back on the rack. Hopefully DS sold all of it at 70% off.
I think they made more phone cases than there are phones in the world…
