Hi Guys
I have an android phone and want to sell it.
Before that obviously I want to delete all my private information and delete all pictures.
Can anyone please suggest a free app in the market which would serve this purpose? Or even the process.
I am aware that even after reformatting your phone to factory setting, the data can be retrieved by some apps. So just as an extra precaution, would like to take the advice of you all out there mobile experts.

Nearly all the apps in the store will be gimmicks. The only guaranteed way I can think of doing it would be to root your device and use a terminal command to overwrite the mounted drive where all your user data goes with a bunch of 0s.
Filling it up with random crap and delete it isn't guaranteed to work either, as you have no idea where the OS will allocate the files (unless you really do completely fill the drive).
The simplest way I can think of ensuring no one can access your old data is to enable encryption, then disable it.
I just factory reset it then fill it up with random stuff, then factory reset a couple times.
