    Optus 3G Wi-Fi Modem

    3G = deal breaker…

    • At least it's not 2G…

      But yes, in all seriousness I don't see why someone would choose a 3G device over a 4G device which would work for 3G too.

      • +1

        But there's no cheap 4g devices :(

        • +1

          Its $15. If you use it for a few months then you've got your moneys worth.

  • +2

    or you can buy it from officeworks for $14

  • Moonee ponds store has same item

  • What is a decent 4G wifi modem to look out for?

  • It contains 2GB of data, doesn't it ? Pity that it will expire within only 14 days after start to use.

    • As I've said before, the only good way to use this is to roll it into a 6 month prepaid plan or whatever so you can actually use that 2gb over a length of time.

      Optus sales confirmed this is a valid strategy.

      Not sure if they're still doing double data before May etc.
