Will be flying to Singapore tomorrow and staying for 4 days, then in Malaysia (Kuala Lumpar) for 4 days.
What should i do there?
I know for sure i will be going to Universal Studios in Singapore but am unsure of where else to go.
Please recommend good places and also good restaurants!!
If anyone even has a bargain or coupon please comment them.
Thanks

I would add Chinatown Heritage Centre. It's in an old terrace house in Chinatown and recreates what life was like in colonial Singapore. Immersive and moving stories.
Sentosa beach looks nice in the brochures but you can't ignore the 50+ tankers and cargo ships moored just off shore.
Instead of being on ozbargain all day go on cheapcheaplah all day
KL can go to Sunway Lagoon for Theme Park and Shopping at Bintang Walk. Also go to Chinatown for cheap t shirt.
Did you find KL to be safe?
the china town markets feel dodgy. but so does the queen vic market
Yeah it's fine.
For Singapore, Zoo and Aquarium.
Eat hawker food.
eat durian and mangosteen every day…
When in season and in that order. :)
Legoland!
Legoland is great. But. It's aimed at kids. If you're expecting terrifying rollercosters it's not really like that.
Legoland is a huge let down. Even my 10yo nephew was bored that last time he was there. The whole theme park is just absolutely underwhelming.
KL -
butterfly park, bird park.
the Islamic architecture museum is really good.
mid city mall is huge and more like a regular mall. but huge. I'd go there again.
there is also a "independent fashion designers" district called Bangsar. where you can check out a lot of stores selling individual designer clothing. this isn't the louis Vitton or Prada. it's more up and coming designers. most of these shops are on the second or third floors so you just go up staircases and you're at a shop. I spent half a day there and enjoyed it.
Thanks, I must check these out next time :-)
KL -
Strolling between Pavilion Shopping Mall and KLCC
along the Covered walkway from Petronas/KLCC to Pavillion mall. More info here and here
KLCC or Pavilion both offer great shopping and food. But just as good is the outside space at KLCC - the fountains, park areas, and finally the covered walkway between Pavilion and KLCC. Best time to explore the outside space of KLCC is around sunset or the evening, when it is cooler (irrelevant for the covered walkway, which has aircond in some sections).
Restaurants - KL
If you like Japanese, there is a floor in Pavilion dedicated to all things Japanese. Quite a few of these offer reasonably priced Japanese meals. Also, there is an entire floor in the lower ground, dedicated to food of different cuisines. Food court and stalls offer hawker-styled and cheaper food, and plenty of restaurants as well.
japanese?? most likely japanese food cooked by malaysian abang abang haha
very true :-)
But still good value for the price charged.nah, go to malaysia then eat malaysian or chinese. and tropical fruit. go to japan to eat japanese (food)
@eisniwre: Can't argue with that :-) (Except if you wish for some cheap variety!)
I'm surprised no one has mentioned the Singapore Hawker Centres. Don't go to restaurants. The best food is in hawkers which you can find on almost every block. Great variety of food for $2-4 a plate.
I only know of things to do in Singapore
