[PC] Free Steam Key: Rage Parking Simulator 2016 @ GrabTheGames/Gleam.io

200

Seems to be a really bad (11% positive reviews on Steam) car parking simulator. Probably only worth getting to idle for the 5 trading cards and the Steam XP. Its saving grace is that there are only 3 Gleam.io steps:

  • Join the Grab The Games Steam group
  • View 2 web pages

Now idle, and enjoy(?) / rage(?).

Steam store page

Description
Choose your space, select drive or reverse and you are done! … Not really. Choose the difficulty wisely being aware of your skill. Once you did so, try again and again and again until you get it at least a little bit right… Just like in real life, only incredibly frustrating! It is only a matter of time - when will the RAGE start? Do not give in, combine your mouse skills with your arrow reflexes and prove you are not a danger in traffic.

How does one profit from a free game?

        • Uh, it was a flippant joke. However, to answer your question, they are selling it for US$3.99 on Steam.

          @MiniMoo:

I understand the joke but I don't think it applies.

        • @tranqme: It was a play on the "ideas" part of your post and them, supposedly, hoping to make money out of such a dodgy game.

I think I need a free Udemy course on comedy. :/

        • @MiniMoo:

Ah yes, well good luck to them, I'm sure somebody out there will buy it.

    • In MY day… Ie early 90's. This sort of game was more than acceptable.

      • no… no it was not. it was not even back in the 70's and 80's. i mean if that game looked like it does today back when i was playing with c64 it may have gotten played a little but by the time the 90's came around there were FAR better games than this shit.

this game doesn't even look like its' worth the hard drive space.

  • This game should be suggested to the Transport/Motor department responsible for issuing driving licenses. To get your Learners and P-plates, you must pass this game!

    • Yes, teach every one to start their car by putting it in reverse…

  • What is the deal with trading cards anyway?

    • Some people like to collect and trade them because they like them. But some people sell them on the Steam Marketplace for money, which then go towards their next game purchase. Mind you they're typically only $0.03 - $0.10 per card, no quick riches here.

Oh, so not really worthwhile seeing as though you could save a lot more money by getting cheaper steam keys elsewhere on the internet

        • bingo, not worth clugging up your steam library for, also

Some people like to collect and trade them because they like them

is there anything less in life that you could choose to aspire too than collecting virtual trading cards?

        • @nosdan:

If you get a whole set, then you can "combine" (I forget the verb Steam uses) them. When you do that, you get emoticons, profile backgrounds, and it levels your Steam account (higher levels unlocks more functions in Steam [albeit minor functions]). The more games you have boosts your level as well, so even if you don't play this game it is marginally beneficial. Basically, it is a way of making Steam a meta-game, as well as further marketizing themselves. I like the emoticons, but the backgrounds I've gotten/seen have be meh.

        • Yeah, I totally don't get why people bother with selling cards. I get trading them for other things, but selling them just seems like a losing battle and a huge timesink.

          (Sorry for the double reply.)
