Hi Bob,
sorry to hear that your kid has ulcerative colitis, i cant help you with Mezavant price, but, i can share our experience and myths we heard….
we heard having raw pomegranates pearls (100g ~ 200g) everyday will eventually can cure ulcerative colitis (indian homeopathy), i dont know how far this is true, but, my wife says having raw pomegranates pearls reduces burning to a significant level. we have started doing this from Nov, she has been happy so far…(she is taking her daily Mezavant dose anyway).
we would like to continue this for few years to see if theres any improvement, fingers crossed….
wow thanks so much we have been looking for more of a natural therapy for him
where do you buy the pearls
we get like 6-8 pomegranates every week from Preston market (each around $2) or Woolworths (each around $2.75) or Sacca's fine foods (~$5/kg) or Fresh plus ($3.5 - $5/kg).
my 4 yr old daughter loves to collect pearls from the fruit (good 20 min play time for her).
@Damnsmart: oh so just eat the pomegrante seeds
kinda both, you can't extract just juice with the regular blender anyway, she start-stops the blender to reduce the amount of taste of the seeds getting into the juice (which tastes really sour)
thanks for the links
Wow you lived in the USA?
Welcome to a culture shock coming to Australia, a place where everything is expensive. Even when taking into consideration minimum wage, currency etc :D
yeah i know everything is super expensive here compared to San Franscico
Huge car enthusiast here
Always been my dream to own a Porsche. $55K model in the US (approx $70K AUD) is roughly $160K AUD in this country. Gonna have to do a lot more work it looks like!
try to buy the car in the us and ship it over here it might work had a 1967 Camaro Z28 was gonna ship it over here but someone ended up giving me a really good offer to buy it so i sold it
@bob123456: Have well and truly exhausted that option. Australian Import taxes are ridiculous and make it not worth it. Only way around it is if you live in a foreign country for 12 months on a permanent basis. So technically if you move somewhere for work and can prove you were there for 12 months then you can make quite a few bucks bringing a car back with you and only paying for shipping costs.
Exhibit A: 2015 Camaro SS BRAND NEW USA $36,142.00 USD
2014 Camaro SS USED AUS $97,500.00 AUDhttp://www.caradvice.com.au/250589/australian-car-buyers-get…
Sorry I have to stop - Luxury car tax always gets me to riled up
Rant Over
My first guess would be to try the chain Chemist Warehouse. Don't they discount some prescription drugs?
