I am looking at around 100sq meters of buffalo lawn in melbounre, I was wondering why it costs nearly double compared to companies in Sydney, does anyone know any places or direct suppliers that will deliver from nsw to vic? Or cheap places in vic? Many thanks

This. Last week my brother in law(farmer) said you could get seed. I've been looking for it (bunnings + masters) and never seen it.
Yeah thought about seed, but won't work with dogs, as covered in mud and seeds until it grows.
what $/m are you looking at and what variety of buffalo, freight from NSW to VIC would likely be more than the cost of grass.
I have always found diacos well priced. Could be worth a try.
do you have dogs? if so, don't get buffalo
get a rhisome grass, it self repairs, like couch grass or a Kikuyu
kikuyu has been my favourite
agreed, it's a pain as it sends it's runners into flower beds etc…. but we have 2 big dogs and it's the only grass that can stand them
Have you thought about seed? We paid for turf it cost us $$$, my FIL's gardener told him that turf was too expensive to use seed and he did and saved himself a fortune!
