    I used to have a Falco Eilte, and did about 10,000km on it in about 7 months, including Sydney-Newcastle-Sydney, and Sydney-Gong-Sydney, so I would say its OK for many people :-)

  In case anyone is thinking of buying, I spoke to the guys in the Collingwood store today and they gave me the bike for $844.

  This included the free kit they are offering at the moment, the discount that came from coupon codes that are valid on Ozbargain and then the 4% cash rewards discount.

  Bonus given I don't have to wait for the cash rewards to be credited and I will be picking up the bike from the store on Saturday.

      VIP and TEN62 were the codes I added online. I called Collingwood as they had the bike in stock.

      When I was on the phone to them I mentioned about the cash rewards 4% and he said they could match that upfront. He did the maths that I did and it came down to $844 and he put it through and I paid outright on my cc.

      I pick it up today.

      Just looked at my invoice they emailed me and it shows it was Craig who I dealt with.

        Thanks for that. I need an medium size and only Windsor and North Melb has it. Called the city one and they guy said he doesn't do cashrewards and suggested I order online and pick up. Weird.

    I guess you are lucky. I went to North Melbourne store first, the guy there refused to drop a single dollar. Then went to Collingwood store, showed the guy your comment, but he still refused to touch the price.

    I ended up buying online with all the discount codes and Cashrewards, but particularly happy with the shopping experience:(

      That's disappointing. I wonder if Craig was taken to task about giving me the discount. I have to say I was surprised when he said he would do it.
