Even with a mac book pro?
No Apple Mouses are a pain and always have been.
Literally a pain in the hand. They are not ergonomic at all.
Peripherals are not Apple's strong suit. They might be good at producing hardware but they should leave peripheral design to Logitech.
Yeah still unbelievable that it took them 20 years to finally add a second button… I was a bought an iMac about 12 years ago couldn't believe the mouse only had one button… To not be able to right click and have to consistently use your left hand on the keyboard …. What were they thinking ?
What were they thinking ?
Steve Jobs disliked the idea of a multi-buttoned mouse. . As long as he was around, the engineers at the labs were afraid that working on the multi-buttoned mouse project would get them the banhammer.
So they didn't. They secretly had a meeting about introducing two button mice at Apple and kept it hush and Steve Jobs actually walked in on them, and at that moment the design chief practically shat his pants and denied any responsibility for it.

Steve Jobs was a genius.
yes every single thing he did was perfect and without any flaws what so ever, he wasn't a human he was a god who must be prayed to and worshipped…
He was the maker of everything electronic in fanboi eyes.
@Hotkolbas:
He invented electricity.
he invented pancreatic cancer.
It isn't good even with mac, even worth with win. One word - pain, literally.
I wouldn't recommend it. for one thing, you work PC will need bluetooth, which it may or may not have. I would recommend picking up a third-party logitech or microsoft touch mouse if you really want/need to use the same mouse at both work/home.
Yes, it can be used with a PC, provided that it has BT and suitable drivers installed. However, some gestures may not work the same on both platforms.
No, it's not a very good idea. The Magic Mouse is a terrible device, with styling taking preference over ergonomics and functionality. It's certainly not paying over $100 for.
Do yourself a favour and grab a Logitech MX Master mouse for each of your home and work PCs - it's a far more ergonomic and reliable design, and the ability to assign any button to a variety of functions.
Logitech MX Master mouse was on sale at DSE for $55 odd.
Where would i get one for a similar price?
That's an extraordinary price, and you probably won't find it again. DS is a special case, since they're clearing stock and shutting down.
Common retail price is around $90. If you feel that's too much for what's widely considered one of the best pointing devices on the market, keep an eye out for specials here on OzBargain - they do pop up for <$80 occasionally.
binglee / jb hi fi family and friends all have it for approx $99.
where can i get for $90?
Just bought one from Binglee and love it.
logitech makes the best !
wondering which is a good keyboard - ergonomic.
if it improves my experience at work / home
i have magic mouse and apple wireless keyboard and they are great but playing games is not recommend.
Recently i have switch back to logitech keyboard and mouse.
No idea, but a magic moose is definitely worth having ;)
