Great deal OP. However your link doesn't match the title - might want to fix it.

    • Done, thanks for pointing that out.

      0 positive feedback. I suppose

    • +3

      Definitely fake.

    • Only 5 left / 29 sold in 24 hours

ROFLMFAO…gonna be 34 very sad little monkeys in a few weeks time… :P

      • Only if 5 more clowns buy it! But seeing as 29 have so far already, I guess there's every possibility that there'll be 5 more who'll clean up the stock..

        • I'll take those odds… ;)

    • +1

Thats the fakest fake ive seen.
0% positive feedback. For the past feedback they've had, the accounts have all been deleted (most likely fake positive reviews)

  • Affiliated with pc byte?

    • Looks like it. Their stores are the same and prices are pretty similar.

Would this Micro SD card work in a Dash Cam (ie fast enough write speeds)??

    It's a Navman Mivue 560

    Thanks…

    • +1

Should be fine for 1080p. I bought one to go with the cheap dashcam posted earlier.

  • Would these be fast enough for a s7 edge?

    • Same question here…

      • for 4k recording direct to card? probably not
but you can write to internal and move it over manually

        • I dont have any devices to need to record to 4k apart from edge, 1080p fine by me

        • What would you need to write 4k direct to card? I have an S5 would it be any different than s7 in terms of write speed required?

        • @Neverpayretail:

this card can theoretically write at 4k speeds but in practise something doesnt always translate (my theory is fragmentation issues).

all phones internal memory be it s5 or s7 is usually VERY fast as it has a direct line. most phones could transfer twice 4k video speeds if the phone camera would actually support it.

  • Are these fast enough for Android M Internal SD Storage?

    • +2

Depends what you mean by 'fast enough' … SD cards will be nowhere as fast as internal flash. While I haven't a phone that uses Android M to test, I would hazard a guess that perhaps the EVO+ or the Sandisk with 80mb read speed might be a better suited.

I believe all three (EVO,EVO+,Sandisk) would have a similar write speed (read: slow comparatively speaking) while the read speed of the EVO+ and Sandisk at ~ 80mb per sec would be faster than the EVO (~45Mb per sec from what I recall) resulting in faster loading of apps etc (one would assume you will be saving a lot less often than reading).

One of the faster U3 cards would be even faster on the writing, however it certainly would not come in at this appealing price of the EVO.

      (Just my two cents worth)

  • is the 'evo plus' worth the extra $6?

  • +1

I wasted 7 cents in the previous deal. :(

  • Bought 1. Perfect timing. Thank you OP!

  • nice ordered one of the dashcam posted by MM…

paid with pp, payment hasn't been accepted yet, i'd say there will be a stock shortage….

  • Cheers. Bought a 64gb one. Been waiting for one but it says still processing

    • Annoying I had to cancel and order again due to payment gateway problem

  • +1

    Hi Everyone,

There seems to be a payment gateway issue with this account at the moment.
Orders with payment pending, can you please drop me a PM ? I will look into this and advise solution.

    Thank you for your attention.

    Regards
    Francesca

How do I go about doing an RMA and getting a replacement for that as if I remember it is with 3 or 5 years warranty ?

    • Thanks, ships from Sydney

    • Hi OP, total available is 93. You can check this by going into "Postage and Payments" and change the "Quantity" to a large number. Thanks for the awesome deal! :)

      • Never knew this. Thanks

    • +1

I bought one a few weeks ago when they were $12.86, and yesterday I gave up waiting for it and contacted PC Byte. They replied within a few minutes apologising that it must have got lost in the mail and they'll send me a replacement by express post.

Have to say, that's some great customer service and something I doubt you get when ordering a $12 memory card from overseas. Hopefully I receive the replacement some time this week.

      • Exact same thing happened to me. Bought 3 few weeks ago and didn't receive them. Contacted their eBay CS and they sent by mail with tracking. Waiting to be collected at post shop now. Hopefully I will finally get them.

  • Just a query, if anyone here knows:

I want to move the recovery partition off of a Windows PC. It usually goes on a USB drive, but would this work as well & still be recognized/boot up if I load it via a mSD-USB converter?

Stupid partition is 17.92, so won't fit a 16GB— grr!

    Ta!
