Nespresso DeLonghi Citiz + Milk Frother $209 (RRP: $399) after $70 Cash Back @ The Good Guys

60

Also at the same price point is the Nespresso Breville Citiz and Milk frother which was the one I personally got (also has a RRP of $399). Included (not advertised) in the box are 16 free capsule pods!

Of course, there is also the $95 coffee credit which works a charm.

You can also find quite a variety of nespresso pods at Coles. Alternatively, you can make the trek to Nespresso in the city at Emporium Melbourne for capsules.

  • We have a few of these contraptions at work and I have always wondered how they work. Now I know.

Which is cheaper, buying coffee beans/ground beans or buying pods?

    • The straight answer would be beans. But then again, if the only factor for you is price, I've heard International Roast is quite good value for money (if you like muddy water)…

But in all seriousness, I think beans would not only be cheaper, but a better quality if you also have a grinder. If you drink coffee very often and you have a ritual for having the same cuppa everyday, then I would imagine beans would be better. If you're someone who is rushed for time and needs a quick cup/just like to try different things, then a capsule would be quite suitable.

However, on a price point of view, I don't imagine capsules are that much more expensive anyway, approximately 70cents a capsule at Nespresso, less for those found at Coles.

    • Pods will cost more, but I do like the convenience and don't drink a lot of coffee at home so the costs not that high anyway.

stop drinking coffee = $0 cost

    • I started filling my own capsules two years ago but gave it away when the price in Coles fell below 40 cents a capsule .. I also had trouble replicating the results the shop capsules achieve .. preference is L'Or .. regularly on special at $4 for ten .. .. :-) . !!

  • Which one has the $95 coffee credit?
