Win a Trip to Flinders Island Worth $3,550 from Tourism Tasmania

There’s no doubt Derek the wombat has won Australia’s hearts, with many wishing they could cuddle him – even for just a short moment. (And let’s be honest, every parent needs a break now and then – even the foster parents of super-cute marsupials!) Fellow Australians and Dezza lovers, brace yourselves: Flinders Island is seeking a Chief Wombat Cuddler. (Cue squeals of excitement!) Not only will you and a friend be flown from your nearest Australian capital city to Tasmania’s Flinders Island to smother our little friend with cuddles, you’ll get to spend three nights exploring Derek’s island home.

Entry is only open to Australia residents aged 18 years or older and the competition closes at 10pm AEDST on 16 April 2016.

Only one (1) entry is permitted per person.

The best valid entry as determined by the Promoter will win the Prize, being a trip to Flinders Island, Tasmania for two (2) adults, valued at up to $3,550 depending on date and point of departure. The Prize includes three (3) night twin-share accommodation on Flinders Island , hire car for four (4) days, and access to spend time with Derek the Wombat as agreed with his handler (‘the Prize’).
If the winner is not from Tasmania, the Prize also includes return economy airfares from any Australian capital city to Whitemark, Flinders Island, Tasmania for two (2) adults. If the winner is from Tasmania, then the Prize does not include airfares and the airfare component of the Prize is not redeemable for cash.
