  • Hi,
I've never actually tried this. But check this out http://www.san-francisco-locksmith.us/program-toyota-transpo…

  • Ebay. I've bought a couple of transponder keys over the years & found that some ebayers provide excellent cutting/programming services for a very reasonable fee.

  • Last time I needed a transponder key cut, the old key was so work they couldn't use it to replicate a new one. Had to get the key code from the Nissan dealer, took it to Bond locksmiths in nunawading (vic), and they cut a brand new key from the code plus a new transmitter, was about $150. Pretty happy with their service.

  • Thanks for your comment guys but i need a genuine corolla flip key that i can program or some other locksmith can program. Hope some one could help me with this.

    • Have you tried that before? And also it says that "Suitable for : Toyota Corolla ZRE-182 Hatchback 2008-2012.. My one is 2013 model, is it compatible on my car??

      • I haven't tried but was looking at replacement keys for my outlander a year ago when I misplaced the keys and spent 4 hours researching how to duplicate and program various keys. some are easy to program (like toyotas) by opening and shutting doors, etc. others can't be easily programmed and must be programmed by a dealer/or specialised car key dealer/locksmith as the key requires a device for programming -such as Crypto 42 type transponders.

as to that key and compatibility? probably compatible but I'd contact the seller to confirm (he is a key cutter/programmer etc)

        • Hi Altomic, yeah you're right that's one thing i wanna know, what are the process on programming a new key if it is like just opening and shutting the door or the computerize one. Coz if it's computerize i don't think i can do it by my self and i don't wanna try coz i dont have the tools and things to do it..

I'd contact the seller too but i'm still waiting for the confirmation.
Thanks for keeping in touch, appreciated much!
