Hi,
Just received the following email:
Changes to your Woolworths Money Qantas Platinum Credit Card account
Dear XXX
We are making some changes to types of transactions that earn points under the Woolworths Money Qantas Rewards Program. This will come into effect on your Woolworths Money Qantas Platinum Credit Card from 11 May 2016 ("Effective Date").
How is it changing?
This means that points will not be earned on payments made to the Australian Tax Office, BPAY, payments and transactions for items that are directly convertible to cash or cash equivalent transactions.
The list of types of transactions that are not eligible to earn points is outlined in section 4.3 of the Woolworths Qantas Rewards Program Terms and Conditions and now include the following:
- payments made to the Australian Tax Office;
- BPAY® payments, i.e. bill payments and other payments made through the BPAY Electronic Payments Scheme; and
- transactions for items that are directly convertible to cash (including, but not limited to, purchase of foreign currency and travellers cheques) or cash equivalent transactions.
You will still be able to earn Qantas Points on any Interest Free Finance transactions. The rest of this section remains unchanged.
