Interesting to note that you don't actually need a receipt to complete the feedback - you can make up any details you want and you'll still the voucher within 24 hours

  • Any particular reason this has an expiry date? I noticed the previous one got marked as expired. As far as I know, this has been continuous for a while now. I found the following in their T&C but it seems to be a bit outdated:

Offer Period commences at 12.01am AEDT on 09/11/15 and ends at 11.59pm AEDT on 31/12/15.

    • yeah, just updated. didn't read T&Cs. cheers

      edited - oh, wait 2015?!

    • Yeah I don't know why the older one got expired out :/

  • My next source of vitamin B1 sorted.

  • Is the stuff they put in mcbites the same stuff they put in their nuggets?

    • You shouldn't have put an expiry on your deal :)

      • He didn't. Mod did.

        • From deal submission page:

If the expiry date is not specified, our system will automatically expire the deal after 45 days (90 days for freebies).

The deal automatically expired 6/3 (45 days). However the expiry date was removed today by a user after this deal was posted, we put it back on to avoid confusion/dupe reports (which is why it appears that way in revision history).

If users post a deal with an indefinite expiry date then good idea to report it and we can mark it as long expiry so it doesn't automatically expire after 45/90 days or they can just set an expiry date in the future as OP of this OP has done.

          Thanks

  • This is a pretty crappy deal. Why not a free Big Mac or something, whats a cone worth? 50 cents??

buy a cone for 50cents and get 10 McBites for free and bingo - that is dinner and dessert for that successful first date.

What is this, a dinner date for ants?

    • not wrong about that.

  • Loose change chicken and cheese burger and get student edge drink

So this T&C on Student Edge isn't enforced? (Due to it being mentioned twice it doesn't count? :P )

Not to be used to discount any other offer or in conjunction with a McValue Meal®, McCafe or with the Loose Change Menu any 'Loose Change Menu' item.

    • This works about 50% of the time for me, a lot of stores don't know about the restrictions.

      • Cool, might give it a go.

  • I did this feedback last month after my cold coffee at the T3 terminal in Melbourne airport on my way for a two week holiday. Got my voucher to be redeemed 'within 7 days for the McDonald's T3 terminal location.' That was a lot of good to me as I wasn't back there for another 12 days! I thanked them for this 'useful voucher' so they ended up sending me one that I could use via mail. So be warned, and do not hesitate to tell them if they give you this great deal. Hopefully they have learnt their lesson.

Saw it at the back of the receipt 2 days ago and completed feedback.still have not got anything in the email

  • Do they ask for evidence of the purchase?

    • +1

      no

      • Sweet, do you know if you need to make a new purchase to redeem the free food?

        • dude, don't be a gáidaros. read the first line of the post.

        • @altomic: Yes, I can see that. But Hungry Jack's say you need to make a purchase to redeem their free burger too, even though they accept it with no purchase.

  • Feedback: The price increase of the hashbrowns is ridiculous.
    Now give me free fat.

  • DDoS for Mcd login page… :/

  • Strange, I did the survey but no email of the offer came through

Sorry ignore this. I got the email.

  • Completed the survey 3 days ago and still haven't received anything

  • In my experience, all you have to do is show the staff the page where it says 'Choose Offer' for them to give you your prize.
