mod - WARNING user has been banned and tends to promote the site listed below. Other members have warned that the use of the software seems to legally questionable and also that the software seems to include a VIRUS

I have been put up with WinX DVD Ripper running for Windows OS only for so long!! :( For those of you who suffer the same, I'm glad that WinX considers about us Mac users now. :)
They developed the Mac Edition – WinX DVD Ripper for Mac and are offering it for free before April 15th. The software is good for a fast and easy DVD conversion to various video formats. Enjoy!

    If this works (and I'm trying it now) then thank you.
    Just installed it and the opening screen is riddled with spelling mistakes !!!
    Looks dodgy or an extremely beta-beta etc.
    Had to force quit it also as after activation the ok box wouldn't go away…
    Tells me that the dvd is protected and to learn how to 'crack' it follow a link…..
    The link goes to another page selling their 'Platinum" edition…
    This program is now going into the trash where it belongs…!
    This is not a DVD ripper…as we know them more like a home movie dvd ripper..
    I realise how ironic this is but this should not really be posted…

    This program supports automatically detecting the DVD you insert. If the DVD comes with the latest copy protection, you will be led to a guide which tells the steps to rip such DVD.

    The problem found by macfanboy is a bug. Actually, the steps are correct. We have fixed it and the page is right now, ripping tutorial for Mac version.
