I was looking for some Active ear muffs and went in to BOC and was told the sale ended on the 31/03/16 but went online and noticed it was half price once in your basket. I bought these at $129.78 which is half price and $270 cheaper than ebay.
No idea how long these will be on sale for.

I assume you mean the Howard Leight ones, not these Peltors. From a review I watched comparing the Howard Leight one to a different Peltor model (I assume the circuit design would be similar), the Peltor seems to do better, but wasn't worth the large price premium over the HL. The price difference is smaller with this sale, so it's up to the buyer to decide if it's worth it.
One annoying thing about the Peltors is that you need a special J22 cable for the audio input.
slightly off-topic but I never understood why BOC doesn't show the total cost of a roll of welding cable (when adding the item to your cart on their site). http://www.boc.com.au/shop/en/au-boc-industrial-store/cigwel… It simply shows the cost per metre. Maybe I should give them a call.
we use these at work and buy them by the 1000's they break all the time soo many returns because " plug broken" issues
