  The RRP prices are a bit of a joke for Katmandu. They always have discounts so it is just a matter of working out if the discount price is attractive enough.

    How do you make a $50 unbranded fleece seem like a bargain? Say it's reduced from $199

        From https://www.accc.gov.au/consumers/prices-receipts/price-disp…
        "Misleading prices may include:"
        "a ‘before’, ‘was’ or ‘strike through’ price that is not the price those items were sold for in a reasonable period immediately before the sale period started"

        So I guess if it was sold for a 'reasonable period' prior to the sale, it's fine.
        However I don't doubt that Kathmandu is following these rules, they are slimy bastards :P

        I agree with you, their pricing is ridiculous, but I think they do sell things at full price (and I can only assume some poor souls buy them)
