    DSE sale is a joke.

    • +1

For reference the 2 people who negged are DSE employees

      • @bear haha :P

    • They do seem to be selling everything.

      • true that but the 'clearance' prices are laughable -_-

  • Good luck finding stock, and their system is wrong so if you're in store without stock and they say XYZ stores have stock try/call them. DO NOT trust it.
I wasted an hour this morning due to being told one store had 4 of an item. So I was prepared to travel as they wouldn't answer their bloody phone, only to find they had one and weren't going to bother correcting their system.
Most stores are not answering the phone.

    • try/call them

Except they all stopped answering the phone weeks ago

      • Which is helpful when one store tells you to call the other to confirm they still have it.

      • I called my 2 local stores yesterday and both answered.

Can we please start putting store/suburb in titles of DSE deals?

DSE bargains are obviously very limited to individual stores, and the chance of finding this anywhere else is zero.

    • I can confirm there were 3 or 4 G310 keyboards as well as G700S gaming mice at both Hobart and Glenorchy stores in Tasmania on Thursday when I bought a G310.

  • Saw some g29 for for xboxone @moonie ponds for 40% off last week

  • Got a G633 Artemis Spectrum headset today for ~$140, retails for ~$280 so very nice bargain, great headset, just sucks they don't stock the wireless G933

  • Just bought a G920 that was listed as $299 but scanned at $249.98. Finally a price I am happy to pay for it! Definitely beats $499 at EB Games. (This was at Dick Smith Greensborough and it was the last one)

    • also bought one for forza, but its faulty, had to return it…

    • the G920 logitec steering wheel comes with pedals… and a shifter. if you buy from DS you do not get the shifter. if you get it from EBgames they throw in the shifter for free… albeit 499 bucks.

  • There is 1 x G29 steering wheel left at Ellenbrook WA for $249.98

  • Toombul QLD store had 3 of these this morning.

  • Hi all, last week, I just bought a G310 Atlas Dawn at JB Hifi for just $69.30. Because the recent price is $99, and luckily they post a sign of 30% for marked price of all Logitech products, then down to $69.3.

    Lel.

The dick smith store in Rhodes is trying to sell off their Point of sale barcode scanners, a pair for $100
and the security beeper gates are $400 each.

    • Did the rhodes store have anything worthwhile? I live right next door!

NOPE! Don't even bother. Everything good has been picked clean. All that's left is Dick Smith branded TV's, one (yes, one) laptop, cables, phone accessories, batteries, cordless phones, mobile phones (all of them 25 percent off) some home theatre stuff like wireless speakers, HDMI cables, home security cameras, radios, antennas and a few uninteresting bits and bobs.

If there was something good I might even have posted it up on Ozb, I go there almost once a week and each time is a dissapointment. The guys who used to work there have even left the store, and it's a bunch of new faces now.

    • Yes its part of the liquidation process.

At this stage you are even allowed to enter any Dicksmith store and buy the microwave or the fridge in the tea room.

      • I'm after a cheap PC, can you tell me what specs your POS desktops are equipped with and how much they're going for?

        • +2

why you want to buy a

          Piece of Shit desktop?

Put $300 into building your own cheap pc..
          and it will have warranty

      • do u know when vic stores are closing there doors?

        • +1

All store should be closed by the 30th of April. A batch closes on the 19th.
We got the same info as the press.

Scrimshaw I will let you know tomorrow.
But for general consumers, I think you would be better of getting a $300 PC online than those old PoS.

        • @Pielo:

          It's interesting that PoS
          can also stand for….

          Piece of Shit

      • I tried to buy the PS4 setup the other week and was told it's going back to Sony, go there this week and gone. Has it gone back to Sony or do you think the employee decided to buy it?

        • And? What concern is it of yours, you were told it wasn't for sale end of discussion.

        • either way, it is gone..

whether u know the truth now is worthless.

        • -1

@Bargainz: Who asked you? This is a forum, expect people to ask questions.

        • @Jackson: Not utterly pointless ones, though.

        • +1

Yes the PS4, XBOX, UE boom, Fitbit, Vue Point stands and the equipment that goes with it does not belong to DSE. It is not on our system and cannot be sold.

        • @Mic Cullen: far from pointless as this isn't the only shop with that stand, and I could easily ask another. Saying that comment is pointless also means that the previous poster's @Pielo comment was pointless about mentioning you could buy even the microwave in the tea room, and his response above is far from pointless, sayimg that there are numerous stands not for sale and which ones. He is also a less prone to bias source than the person in the shop you might ask, because he doesn't have a vested interest in the sale or lack thereof, which in case you have not been paying attention is the number one grip with DS since they started sales.

But it's all pointless isn't it? "Never assume…" is probably appropriate

    • I wonder if you could buy anything else from the store… like offering 20 bucks for the sign out front?

  • There are two g310's left at Dicksmith Fairfield and a Logitech gaming headset not sure which one.

  • Does anyone know which stores still have the G920 or G29 in Sydney?

    • Saw 3x G29s in DSE Mount Druitt, on Friday, may be gone by now.

  • anyone knows which DSE store still has Logitech K480 bluetooth wireless keyboard?

  • 2x G700s @ Wetheril Park $60
