It’s a bird, it’s a plane, it’s a parasail attached to a V8 race car! We’ve combined the ultimate driving experience with the ultimate flying experience for a once‐in‐a‐lifetime action packed day out. Located at scenic Wakefield Park Raceway, NSW, adrenaline junkies will be able to experience the thill and power of flying behind a V8.
Highlights
- Admire V8 race cars from a never‐before‐seen angle
- Action packed, with the option of getting dipped in an esky
What's Included?
Three‐minute solo parasailing flight
Fly through the sky at more than 200 kilometres per hour
Instructors are all related to professional race car drivers
When you first arrive at the venue, you’ll be given a quick safety briefing. From there, you’ll be harnessed up on a real race track – make sure you’re strapped in tight because the revs will give you one bumpy ride.
You’ll then wait for the signal. Once the flags are raised you’ll take off. Beware of whiplash as you’re pulled into the skies at up to 200 kilometres per hour.
From there it’s time to sit back and enjoy the view – we’re talking 50 shades of green grass as far as the eye can see. On a sunny and clear day you’ll be able to see all the way from picturesque Goulburn Correctional Centre to Bathurst Carpet Court. In fact, the view is so spectacular that we’re going to let you witness it not once but three times as you make your way around the circuit.
During your ride you have the choice as to whether you’d like to be dipped into the water or if you’d prefer to stay high and dry. For those wanting to cool off, your driver can lower you down with expert precision into an oversized Coca‐Cola‐branded esky and then hoist you back up again into the air.
At the conclusion of the parasailing ride, your V8 race car driver will pop open the boot and winch you in. This is the safest method of bringing you back down to earth and – while we make no guarantees – is also your best chance of avoiding any gravel‐related injuries.
Another April's fool joke?
