70,000 is the maximum Qantas Points that can be earned in the first year through both purchasing Couples/ Family Top Hospital & Top Extras and earning the maximum Qantas Points available through the App. This is made up of ‘sign on’ Qantas Points earned upon purchase, Qantas Points earned on premium excluding any Government rebate amounts applied and Qantas Points earned through the App. 50,000 is the maximum ‘sign on’ Qantas Points that can be earned by a person who has taken out a Qantas Assure Couples/Family Top Hospital & Top Extras policy and held it for 60 days. Each Qantas Assure health insurance policy has a specific maximum number of bonus 'sign on' Qantas Points that can be earned upon purchase. To earn 15,000 points, you must participate in the highest daily and weekly challenges available through the Qantas Assure App and win every group challenge. Maximum points vary depending on level of cover. I looked into this. Just make sure you go through the full terms for all extras and hospital packages cause some max out on yearly points. Ie the basic package you cannot earn more than 8000 points annually through walking. But overall it looks like fun.
