Why did you choose ozbargain to fish for this?

For those like myself who cant be bothered clickng through, in a sentence, what is the profile of your target candidates?

Also, no-one is being "rewarded" you are paying people for what Will likely be well over 1 hour of their time

EDIT: Based on the questions provided below, it sounds to me like some energy company or similar is trying to work out how to stop paper /mail billing to lower socioeconomic groups with a view to sign them up for high frequency direct debit arrangements

Ozbargain, thats what this mob has profiled many typical site users as!

  • This link is bull shit. Its not $50 reward survey but its ask you for information and after you answer all questions, it says thank you.

    • What questions did it ask?

    • Your comment is bullshit. The post clearly says the survey determines whether you do the interview…

      • Did you complete survey?

        • yeah

        • @magicmoose:

          What questions did it ask?

        • @pointless comment: as pyramid said above, plus a couple about employment - are you employed, what area. Do you get bills by email, how many, how do you pay them. that was all I think. Only took 2 mins.

it sounds to me like a research company is paying you a referral for each person that ends up being used for the interview. if so, you should say so upfront. (I am a member of a few research things and in the past have been offered a referral bonus for sending people their way through similar methods for a particular study).

They are getting payed for carefully selected referrals - poorer people who arent signed up for email statements and pay manually

  • I think its just a company recruiting research candidates.

I think its more likely a bank or something, given the questions about bills or maybe an email company (an ISP)

Regardless, I signed up and was eligible and I booked a time…

I sent it to my wife and she didnt get through to book a time, so the demographics they need must be pretty tight….Either way, I am going to spend my $50 on ….beer… :-)

I just got a text about booking a time and somewhat unsure about whether to go… just sounds a bit dodgy :P

Worried they might try to harvest my kidneys or something haha

  • Why so vague on what the research is about?

    • Hi Fred don't want to influence the results.
