As noted in title, I am kind of torn between whether to keep my 2 Dollar Day 3G prepaid or to move to the Optus $40 10GB plan. I am currently living in Tasmania and reception from Optus around where I live and work is reasonable. I am quite a heavy data user and can rack up to 10GB per month with Spotify and Netflix on my phone (This also act as my secondary data access point when I am away from home for work).
So, just wondering if it is worth it to discard the current plan (Optus 2 Dollar Day 3G - unlimited data) or whether I should switch to the $40 10GB plan to save a few bucks while getting faster network speed. I really want to keep my current number that I am using, so having both is unlikely going to be a suitable option.
Put your phone on 3G-only for a few days, see if you can tolerate the lower speed and then decide.
