There was a thread on here a few weeks back. Both the seller and the buyer had their account suspended.

@RogueWolf: As someone said before it's perfectly fine to buy someone a flight in their name on your account with those points.
170,000 is more than enough for a return economy ticket to Heathrow

damn you had balls going through that site.. they want full access to your amex account not worth the stress.. most reviews positive though
Didnt provide them credit card details, only skywards account and i had changed all my details… but i was still a little worried at the time!
I do not recommend use this website.Since I submitted a quote,I got continuous spam mails from different domains.I am very sure it is due to them because I did not sign up any other new websites in between.They probably do proper business on this website,but also collect your emails to spam for other scam purposes.Only use fake/disposable email address to them.

best and safe way to sell is: Find a buyer who wants to book a flight ticket. And you book for him. DO NOT Transfer!!! too much risk for account cancellation.

if you haven't actually trasnferred your amex points to your QFF account yet, you could probably still do it without issue? I don't think there's anything stopping you doing an initial transfer from your amex account directly to someone elses QFF account.
the issue is selling points already converted to QFF points to another QFF account
What I'm told by someone is you can sell the points provided that person then converts it straight away to another FF. There hasn't been an issue doing it that way.

A lot of people have been recently caught selling AMEX points to non-family members and their points/account were cancelled. Are you sure you'd want to take that risk?
