Great price for DDR3 memory if you are still running haswell or older CPU.

    • Or if running an AMD FX CPU. So doesn't have to be specifically for an Intel CPU.

        lol.
if you're still running AMD then you're a mug :)
AMD has a hard time competing with i5 cpus lol

but i know. AMD users dont want to know this lol

        • Don't knock it nothing wrong with AMD CPU's for the price. I'm running an AMD FX-8320 CPU. Runs any app and game i can throw at it.

This DDR3 RAM in this thread deal will work just fine with AMD FX CPU's and AM3+ motherboards as i said for those with one.

          @hollykryten:
i used to run AMD, and i would say the same things as you,
mainly because i was a Uni student and that extra 100$ on a CPU didnt make much sense.
but since you mention games, lol.
          its (profanity) total rubbish, AMD.

          here is a userbenchmark , your CPU against 3rd generation i7 http://cpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/Intel-Core-i7-3770K-vs-…

pay attention to where it says": Much Faster
          like 50% in all aspects.

when i upgraded my AMD to a first generation i7 i saw the light,
oh yea. my AMD was running at 4.8GHZ, i never suspected that pile of poo at 4.8GHZ could be the system bottle neck,
always felt like i need to get a faster graphics card, i bet you do too. lol
i know a guy who has SLI GTX980s on an AMD, lol
you are free to continue living in the darkness as i will not reply to any more replies from you.

        • @millusions:

It's worth mentioning that the AMD FX-8320 has 8 physical cores compared to the 4 physical + 4 Hyper-Threaded/'virtual' cores on the i7 3770k.

When using the i7 with Hyper-Threading switched on, if the programs/tasks are fully loading the 4 cores, the extra threads will have no impact as there is no workspace left to share/split the work. It is only useful when not all the cores are fully utilised allowing the tasks (if the program allows) to be handled amongst all 8 threads.

Nice price for this RAM, bought this last year for a higher price, and its totally transformed my HP Microserver, which is used with ProxMox for Virtualization.
