You could just go with Boost (which IS Telstra).
$40 pm for unlimited calls & texts within AU.
3GB data across the 30 days + extra 2GB to use every weekend from 9pm Fri. - 11:59pm Sun.
That works out to 11GB per month (or more on those 5 weekend months).
No contract, 4G.
FYI
Does 4G = 4GX?
Meaning, they recently added 4G (previously was only 3G).
