Can anyone who has been researching US sims comment on how competitive these are? Also OP, is there an expiry date on these? I'm not traveling until October.

Good questions! I'd like to know too

a little low on the data compared to TravelSIMSDirect:
      https://www.ozbargain.com.au/user/135592/nodes

I used travel sims direct last year, and got 13GB for $49 (their offers change each time, in both price and data allowance, but seems to be more competitive that this offer).

and yes, definitely need to know expiry date for the sims.

    • There is no expiry date on the SIM, so you can buy them now and activate in October or anytime.

All the prices are in USD ?

Yes all prices are in US dollars.

  • I've used these SIMs a couple of times when travelling to the US:
    Pro:
    - Convenience of having the SIM before travelling
    - Active as soon as you travel
    Con:
    - Not really competitive in terms of the amount of data you get
    - They use T-Mobiles service so depending on where you're going you might have terrible reception
    - Maps seemed to be really terrible when using these SIMS

If you're going for longer then 7 days and don't need a SIM as soon as you land, I'd suggest getting a T-Mobile SIM after you arrive which is about ~$40. You get unlimited text and calls (I believe international text is included but have a look on their site) and you get about ~5GB data.
